At the colonial wool sales to-day 10,500 bales were offered. Prices were firmly maintained.

At to-day's colonial wool sales, 12,000 bales were offered. The market was firm. The total withdrawals amount to 10,000 bales. ■

At the wool sales to-day 12,000 bales were offered. The market continues firm. June 25. At the wool sales to*-day 11,500 bales were offered. The market continues firm. June 27. At to-day's wool sales 11,700 bales were catalogued. The market continues firm.

At the wool sales all classes have improved, and the demand from America has to a large extent assisted the prices. The closing rates are on a par with the April closing rates, but in many instances those prices have been exceeded. The number of bales catalogued was 182,000, of which 10,400 were withdrawn.

The British and New Zealand Moetgage and Agency Co. have received tbe following wool telegram from Messrs Helmuth Schwartze and Co., dated London, 23rd inst. : — " Sales continue animated. American demand has increased. Prices are on a par with closing rates of last series. Extra super grease is rather higher. Catalogued up to date about 170,000 bales, of which withdrawn about 7 per cent., taken for export about 50 per cent." Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), dated the 20th inst. :— •• Market firm ; crossbred Jd to Id above opening rates of present London sales."

Messrs Dalgety and Co. have received the following telegram from their head office, dated London, June 24th :— Wool.— Sales are active and competition brisk from all quarters. As compared with closing rates of last sales, prices of wools in general are maintained, while fine and medium crossbreds and extra super greasy merinos show an advanced £d per pound.
