Na change of importance took place in these positions until a mile from the finish, when Baudres was dotje with, and gave way to Mr Blanc's pair, 1 who kept the lead for a short distance, attended by Usna, Auglomane, and Boissy in the order named. Half-a-mile farther on Usna once more came to the front, closely attended by Anglomane, and the.issue being now confined to the pair they ran home together, but Mr Gubbin's gelding alwayj went too fast for his opponent and scored an easy victory by a length; Donnycarney, 10 leng+hs away, finished third ; the others, of whom Matador and Bettina fell, were' beaten off.
