May 25. Adelaide wheat, off coast, is 6d lower, 37s 6d; Adelaide flour, 255. New Zealand wheat— lowest 335, best qualities 37s 6d.

Australian beef tallow, average quality, 225 ; mutton tallow, 235.

Since the resignation of the Ministry several attempts have been made to form a new Cabinet, but all combinations proved abortive. M. Floquet has consequently been resummoned by M. Grevy with a view to his again^ accepting office. v It is not expected that the arrest of tw French railway officials at Montreux by the German police will cause a disturbance of the relations between France and Germany.
