THE LABOUR MARKET. Mr Skenb reports under date May 17 : — All we want now is a stretch of fine to allow ploughing to be vigorously prosecuted. The engagements now are principally potato-lifters, milkers, couples, and a taw ploughmen. Rabbiters are getting busy, and they have their work cut out for t.hem. A goud many Dunedin youths are taking to the country. It is their only chance now, as there are no hopes for them in Dunedin. Clerking Is played out. ; , IMMIQEATION OFFICE.
