ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES. | — - ' IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the Education Board of the District ot Otago, in virtue of the powers vested in it by " The Education Act 1877 " and " The Education Act 1877 Amendment Act 1835," directs that a PUBLIC MEETING of the HOUSEHOLDERS in every School District throughout the Education District be held on MONDAY, the 25th April, at 7.30 o'clock in the Evening, for the purpose of ELECTING SEVEN (7) HOUSEHOLDERS to form the Committee in each district for the year ending on the fourth Monday in April next year. The Meetings are to be held in the Schoolhouse in each district, except in Oamaru, Port Chalmers, and Caversbam, where the Meetings are to be held in the Athenseum Hall, Foresters' Hall, and Town Hall respectively.
