Melbourne, April 9. As a fully-laden coach was leaving Laroit yesterday one of the horses became fractious and upget the coach. Nearly 20 persons were injured, some of them very seriously. April 10. A colt by {Grandmaster out of Baroness realised 315gs, and a colt by Maribyrnong out of Gipsy Girl fetched 221gs. Hobart, April 9. The schooner Gold, from Melbourne, sprang a leak during a gale in Bass Strait last Sunday, and, being in a sinking state, the crew took to the boats, reaching Goose Island in safety.
