A well-attended meeting of farmers residing k the M.'rton, Beaoonsfield, and Blueskin dis< | tricts was hfeld at the schoolhouse, Evm^dale, on ; Friday evening to* further the establishment of a cheese factory at Evansdale, as being the cen« tral position for the districts named. Mr Elmer, in taking the chair, said he thought the scheme would greatly enhance the.va?ne of property in th« district generally, and he trusted they would all do their best to forward it. In respond to a call the Secretary gave the totals of shares so tar to be allotted— viz • Sea. cliff, 315; Blueskin, 3*7; Merton, 105-total, 767.
