January 10. — At the meeting of the Outram Town Board held on Saturday, there were present — Messrs Snow , (chairman), Chisholm, Tynan, Rutherford, and Dow. The tender of Mr James Low, jun., for dog collars, at 9|d each, was accepted. The dog tax was fixed at 10s per dog, and where dogs are kept solely for' rabbiting the owners to pay 10s for the first dog, and 2s for every dog after the first. — Mr John Grant was appointed dog tax collector at 9d per dog. — An application for a renewal of slaughtering licenses lately held by W. Patrick, butcher, was received ana granted to Duff and Co. — The inspector was authorised to employ a man to chip gorse and cut thirties on road Hues in town district. — Accounts amounting to £4 14s 2d were passed for payment.
