SMALLPOX IN AUSTRALIA.

Mblbouene, January 7.
, Another smallpox case is reported at the quarantine station. Dr Porter, the medical officer, telegraphs that there is little doubt that the patients now in quarantine were infected during the removal of the corpse of the first victim at Adelaide, which was wrapped in loose clothes and removed in the presence of the Preussen's passengers. Several of the patients at Sorrento have admitted that they dodged the medical inspector when he visited the vessel at Adelaide. Several patients at the quarantine station are in a critical state, one of the cases being considered hopeless. '. . - Adelaide, January 7. . Two fresh cases of smallpox are reported, otoe of which is regarded as hopeless.
