HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARDS.
A proclamation appears in the Gazette apportioning the representation of the contributory local authorities under the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act.
For the Otago district the City Council of Dunedin will be represented by four members. The following combined districts return one member : — Clutha County and Balclutha Borough Councils; Bruce County and Milton Borough Councils ; Taieri County and Mosgiel and Green Island Borough Councils ; i Maori Hill, North-East Valley, and Roslyn Borough Councils ; Caversham and Morningtou Borough Councils ; Waihemo and Waikouaiti County Councils; Otago Heads, Portobello, and Peninsula Road Boards, and South Dunedin and St. Kilda Councils; Port Chalmers, Hawksbury, and Palmerston Borough Councils.
For the Tuapeka district the Tuapeka County Council is represented by four members ; and the Lawrence, Roxburgh, and Tapanui Borough Councils combined return one member.
For the Central Otago district Vincent and Maniototo County Councils have each four members; and the combined Cromwell, Alexandra, and Naseby Borough Councils one member. / For the united district boards the Vincent CCounty and Alexandra, Roxburgh, Cromwell, and Tapanui Borough Councils are represented by one member for the combined district. Maniototo County and Naseby Borough Councils combined have one member. .The other districts have the same representation and are combined in the same manner as for the other board.
