The Porte has formally protested to the great Powers against the elect of Roumelia to the Sobranjc. The Regency declare they will not permit Turkey to intervene. A report is current to the effect that Turkey is willing to admit a Russian garrison to the Dardanelles 'on condition that she is allowed to occupy Bulgaria and Roumelia herself.
