COMMERCIAL.
The dividend of £1 15s per share, equal to 14 yer Cent., declared by the Union Bank of Australia, is now payable to colonial shareholders. A dividend of 15s per share is declared by the Dunedin Gold Dredging Company, payable after to-morrow. The dividend of 10 per cent, declared by the Now Zealand Refrigerating Company is now j>ayable. The directors of the National Bank of New Zealand have declared a dividend at the rate of 0 per cent, per annum for the half-year ending • 31st March last. The customs revenue for the colony for July amounted in round numbers to £11-1,452, of which Auckland contributed £31 657 ; "Wellington, £16,197 ; Christchuroh and Lyttelton, £15,722 ; Duoedin, £.'8,661. The revenue in Ju'y, 1885, was £118,587. The beer duty last month realised £3157, as against last year £3885 in correspond' ng period. Auckland paid £793, Wellington £356, Chmtehuvch £777, aad Dmwdin £815.
