TO THE DKAUGKTS EDITOR. I have much pleasure in contributing the following examples of the 15-19 line of the " Kile" opening, between players of Great Britain, America, Australia, ii.d .New Zealand, ana I am of opinion that the 16cally played games stand a favourable comparison with the other games played, particularly the games played by Messrs Boawell and Mackay. '■ n examining this line of play at mark *, Problem 537, Otago Witness; Bliick men on V, 2, 5, 0, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 20. White men on o, la, 19, 21, 22, 25, 27, 28, and 31. You will notice that in all the games marked *, 7 11 is played with varying biiccess. I now give for a draw the move 20 '24, &a., as shown by play sent on this and previous occasions If you decide to publish this collated and original play, I have much pleasure in resp cttully inscribing the play given to Messrs Kobert Boswtll and J.
