Police Assistance. — In compliant?* with frequent requests wo have now received extra police assistance, but in place of an ordinary constable we have been allotted a lv.spoeted Member of the detective force all tho way from Auckland. I presume there has been some slight mistake in the instructions, whifh will no doubt be speedily rectified.
