J. H. KiMODR, grain and produce broker, reports under date July 16 as follows:—

Flnur.— Thero is no change in prices since date of last report— viz., £8 103 in sacks, £S 16a in 1001b batca. and £4 in fifties.

Hides.— Our sales during the week consisted of 274. Best hides are worth 3Jd to 4d ; modium do, 3d per lb. Tallow.— We quote best rendered, £31 10s; medium. £27 ; rough f it, £19 to £23.

Grain.— Wheat : There ia a good demand for prime samples, particularly of velvet and Tuscan, which wo quote at Zi 3d to 3s 53 ; red straw, 3a Id to 3s 3d ; medium, 2s 9d to 3s ; fowls' f eod, Is 6d to 2a 6d. Fat Cattle.— We sold on account of Messrs H Lind" say (Pukeuri), and others, cdws at up to £8 12s 6d and bullocks £6 7s Cd, and quote prime beef 20s to 22s 6d ; ordinary, 15s to 17s 6d per 1001b. Fat Sheep.— We f-old on account of Mr J. C. Buckland (Tumal), 292 crossbred wethers at 13s 6d to 14a : Mr H. Lindsey (Pukeuri), 70 do do at 13s 3d to 14s 9d, 69 merino wethers at Us 9d to 12s ; Mr R. Grant (South Canterbury), 11 bullocks at from £6 17s 6d to £8 ss ; on account of Mr James Liddle (Taieri Beach), 9 really prime heifers at from £6 12s 6d to £9 10s (average £7 12s 6d) ; from Mr A. Grant (Temuka), 61 head at for bullocks up to £S 12s Gd, cow's and heifers up to £8 7s 6d; 011 account of Messrs Waldie, Richards, and others, cows up to £6 17s 6d.
