A school-girl was run over by a tramcar, in Elizabeth street, and killed. 1 Nothing has been heard of the missing ship Min-y-don, and all hope is now abandoned. Sailed, this afternoon:-' Union Co.'s s.s. Wakatipu, for Wellington. Melbourne, April 12th. Sailed, this ovening : Union Co.'s s.s. Te Anau, for tho Bluff. Malting barley is unchanged at 4a 4d to 4s Od ; market quiet. Wheat, for shipping, is decidedly firm at 6s 7d ; New Zealand feeding oats have advanced to 3s lOd to 4s ; malting sorts 4s to 4s 3d. The market is very firm.
