CHRISTCHURCH RAM FAIR.
We have obtained the result of the sales effected by the principal breeders of longwoolled rams, which will be interesting to those connected with pastoral pursuits :— Mr Menlove, of Windsor Park, Oamaru, sold 20 Lincolns, including a few stud sheep, at an avorage of £6 9s fid. The New Zealand and Australian Land Company (Limited), Clydevale, sold 10 Lincolns and 108 Leicesters, all flock rams, at an average of £5 10s 3d. # Mr Boag, Burnside, Chnstchurch, sold 63 Leicesters, including some stud sheep, for £4 11s. Hon. M. Holmes, Awamoa, Oamaru, 31 Leicesters and 103 Lincolns, including stud sheep, at an average of £4 5s 2d. Mr Reid, Elderslie, Oamaru, 10 Lincolns and 15 Leicesters, at an average of £3 9s 7d. Mr Grigg, Longbeach, 158 Lincolns and 55 Leicesters, at £3 ls 6d. , mT . , Mr Fred. Sutton, Southland, 29 Lmcolns, at an average of £3 14s 7d. Mr Menlove also sold 24 Lincoln ewes at £5 13s 9d.
