The following resolutions were carried : — "^That, in .the opinion of this meeting, it is advisable to reduce the number of, shares in the Tuapeka Prospecting Association from 500(yto 2000 shares a,t £1 per share." *j",Tha,t the necessary steps be taken to form the Company'and allot the shares under ' The Joining Companies Act, 1872.'" "That the number of directors in the said Company be nine, and that five form a quorum. , , "That" the following shareholders be appointed directors :— Messrs Herbert, M'Kinlay, Grieve, U'Ren, Tolcher, Harrop, A. M'lntosh, Chalmers, and Browne." "That Mr,R. Pilling be, appointed legal manager, and that Mr t>. R. Hunter be solicitor For the' Company." , ,
