In the morning o! their life they .stood - Lovingly hand-in-hand, with sp lnto high, . And fearless hearts attuned to meet the strife, Without a murmur, tear,or sigh. Husbah'^and wife, and well they loved each other, HoW bright to them the mom of life did seem ; ( EaEwith'the glory oftheir love and hope, Thebrfght beginning of a fairy dream. ( In the noondayof their life they stood - 9 Still hwid-in-hand, but sorrow they had known ; Two fair Jewels from their crown-had gone, To swS rWance ontheir Father's throne. And now the evening of their life has'come. Still b*nd-ta-hand, but one is i going home ; SoSS have to cross the deep, dark nver, Inf JhTwul have to w ? rk and wait ajone. For him the end otfearthly things has come, , Hi* splritipasses as the sun goeu'down ; Prom feU wholoved him a good man hwjf ol^ nm _ To^Sijaod's own hand, his harfwon crown..
