CHESS NOTES.
A match was played on the Bth Decamber between the Railway House C.C., London, andrthe Kentish Town CO., with ten players on each side.; The former were victorious with,a score of six to three, and three draws. , The Greenwich Chess, Club was victorious in two matches played, respectively,' on' 'the '9th and 16th December, at the Greenwich Lecture: Hall, against the Woolwich and Bermohdsey Chess Clubs'. On the first occasion the score was 4} to 2J, and on the latter 5 to 2. ', We learn from the Weiner Allyempine Spbrtzeitung that Herr A. Wittek recently gave a performance at Gratz, of playibg ten game's simultaneously blindfolded, of which, after six hours' fight, the performer won 6,tlost 1, and drew 8. •
