LICENSING COMMITTEES.
outram; The first quarterly meeting of the Outram; Licensing Committee was held in the Courthouse, Outram, on Wednesday. Present : Messrs P. Grant, William Grant, A. Chisholm, and Dr M'Brearty. Mr Shand was unavoidably absent. Mr Alex. Chisholm was unanimously elected chairman. The inspector's report for the Outram district was presented, and was considered satisfactory. The clerk was instructed to prepare a register of licenses in accordance with the Act. It was considered that Saturday, April 29th, would be a good date on which to hold the ratepayers' poll with regard to new licenses. POUT CKAIiMEUS.
The first meeting of the Licensing Committee for Port Chalmers North was held at noon on Wednesday, in the Courthouse. The only business was the election of a chairman, and the choice of the meeting fell upon Mr W. M. Innes. The meeting was afterwards adjourned until June.
