The reserves for schools, post office, telegraph office, railway, hospital, and other public objects will be shown on the maps on the day of Bale. The recreation-grounds will be reserved for the publio, and will be under the management f a looal body. There will be a resident medical officer, appointed by the Government. The government of the town will be by a local body constituted under "The Thermal Springs-District Aot, 1881." Some of the building sites, peculiarly suitable for residences, will be let subject to restrictions as to the use for trades or shops. The hotels and lodging-houses will be governed by regulations suitable to the exceptionble character and requirements of the town. Rents will be paid half-yearly, in Auckland, or in the town, as may be found convenient Possession of the land will be given imme1 diately after the auction. The )ots may be now identified on the ground by marked pegs. The use of the waters, and all similar arrangements, will be under the control of the doctor and a local body.
