A Victorian, Dunedin.— Lady Emma belongs to the Hon. George M'Lean, who, however, always enters her for races in the name of his former racing partner, Sir Hercules Robinson. The reason for this is, aa Mr M'Lean has often stated, that Sir Hercules brought the mare over here from Sydney, and always had a great opinion of her. lv J., Oamaru.— Lady Emma's time is the quickest for the Cup, J.C. Handicap, and Forbury Handicap (though Foul Play exactly equalled her, 2.44, in the last named). The best time for the Cup previous to this year was Mata, 3min. 56isec.
