ELECTION OF WARDENS. nVTOTIO^ IS HEREBY GIVEN that _i_\| tho following Gentlemen have been ELECTED Wardens for the Tuapekallundred for the year 1882, viz. : — Messrs WILLIAM SMITH, CHtUKTOPHER DALZIEL, and THOMAS E. WILLIAMS ; and that Mr THOMAS D. DARTON has been ap. pointed Ranger for the Dalhousie Hundred, and Mr JAMES CRANE for Waihola Hundred, for the present year, under Secfion 39, Appendix H, Land Act, 1877 J. P. MAITLAND, Commissioner of Crown Lands. Land Board Office, Duuedin, 18th January, 1882. COPY of BYE-IAWS adopted by the Wardens of Ilindon Hundred for tho year 1882 :- 1. The carrying capability of the nindon Hundred is 6000 sheep. „ „ TT , , 2 The right to run sheep on the said Hundred to every license holder shall be one sheep for every two acres owned. " 3. That none except license-holders be allowed to depasture stock on the Hundred. 4. That license-holders be' allowed to depasture only tho number of sheep apportioned to them by the Wardens. 5. That no sheep shall be removed from the Hundred by anyone without giving three days' notice to 6.
