Mr A.. Thomson, of Kakanui, has .lost hia valuable greyhound Don Carlos, whioh got bitton by another dog, and died from the effects of the injury. Don Curios was a very yood perforoipr, be having la^t year won tho Oauiaru Member^ Plate und the South Uanteibury Cup ; wiiile thia year he ran up in the Waterloo Cup, and divided ihe South Canterbury Cup with big kennel companion Bonnie Scotland.
