Pukeuri School.
The breaking-up proceedings in connection with thia school took place on Thursday, 23rd ult. All the children of the infant department were the recipients of Christmas gifts, and there were in all over 100 children present, the total number on tbe roll being 113. The following is the prize list : —

Jane Campbell received a special prize awarded by Mrs Dalzell.
Infants. — Sewing : Mary Quinny, 1 ; Maegie Robertson, 2. Special prize given by Mrs Craig for best sewing by a girl 10 years or under : Mary Gray.
