I love to see the grassy vale, Where runs the rippling rill; I love to nee tho sunbeams play Upon the fern-clad hill. I love to see thornoon on h"gh Past sailing to the we&t; I love to sco tho stars shine out, And twinkle at their be»t. I lovo to see the bright, blue sky Without a speck of cloud ; I love to see the pura white snow, This earth in whiteness Bhroud. 1 love to see the ocean waves Majeaiicilly roll; I love to see the towering rocks Of promontory bold. I love to see a precipice, A hundred fathoms deep ; I love to see a cavern dark, Where Echo never sleeps. AH these I love, and come what will, For I will love them still,
