In the All-aged Stakes, Mr Sherwin's Queen of the Seaa beat Messrs Reid Bros*. Malice, and won. The sport on the whole was good. NORTH OTAGO COURSING CLUB. Oamaru, June 2nd. The second meeting of the North Otago Coursing Club was commenced today under very favourable auspioes. The weather was glorious for coursing purposes, hares were plentiful, and the large number of coursing men present had a good day's sport. The meeting was for the Members' Plate, and was open to dogs belonging to members of any club. Twenty-one entries were received last night, and the meeting was therefore rendered one of fair dimensions. A large number of courses were run off, the second ties being entered upon, leaving only five courses to run off to complete the event. This will only take a very short time to • morrow. Mr Wise as judge, and Mr Turner as slipper, gave every satisfaction, and the whole of the arrangements were of a highly creditable nature, following are the results :—: — Mr J. B.
