Reef ton.— Tho Keep-it-Dark Company's amalgam for the v.ook was 211oz from lbfi tons of si one. Tho Golden Ftae Company returned 9730z retorted gold trnm (U) tons ot quartz. Tho Welcome Uompanj are ,',otti]i'4 out ftoue. The Eneigctic Company" have sl.HK'k a line ivof, fi\o feet wide, showing good yold. Miullowii.— Crushing operations, with the exception of the Homeward-bound Company, have closed for the season. Most of the claims will continue underground working dining the winter. Bendigo Gully.— The Cromwell Company havo driven on the now line of reef about 50 feet, and arc driving a crosscut from tho old level to cut the new line of reef.
Ilindon.— Tho Ilindon Company's crushing has turned out rather unfavourable, tho surface stone being poor. Keep-it-Dark, 13s Gd to 14s ; Welcome, 365 ; Tippc^ rary, £18 ; Cromwell, 32s 6d ; Homeward-bound, Cfi Gladstone, 10s
