AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.
We have bef-n favoured by Inspector Thompson, the superintendent collector (*ays the Oamaru Mail), with a copy of the agricultural statistics f»r the County of Waikouaii i lying ncroh of the Waitau Stream. We give th«* principal figures bolow, and it will be i>be«rved Uiab while the acreage under crop with wbeat in tho Waitftki County shows a iallincr of something like 5500 acres, tha total estimated yield ehowa an iucrease of a libtlo over 46.000 bushels. In oats, about 1000 additional acres have been planted, with au increased yield of over 300,000 bushels. Tne harley grown shows an increased acreage of 2732 acre*, with an iaoreased yield of over 110.000 bush-jls.
