Maggie M'Dougall, Helen Welsh, Catherine Mitchell, Mary M'Millan, Ann Eddie, Annie Birch, and Jessie Pollock, Dunedin, third-class certificates for plain needlework. C. C. Macfarlan, Jackson's Bay, first-class certificate for a crochet quilt, Jessie P. G. Scott, Dunedin, first-class certificate for Iloniton lace. M'Carthy and Maggie Armstrong, silver medals for books of ferns. W. H. Field, Wellington, first-class certificate for a collection of New Zealand cryptogams. Eleanor C. Sperrey, Dunedin, silver medal, for a sketch from nature. E. Nod Barraud, Wanganui, silver medal, for a water-colour painting. Henry J. Bilton and H. A. Dobson, Christchurch, silver medals for engineering drawing also, first-class certificates for drawing of a locomotive engine, lighthouse, and mechanical drawing. R. J.
