EDUCATION BOARD.

A spfioial meeting of the Education Board wa3 held yesterday. The members present were— Messrs J. Green (in the chair), M. Praer, H. Clark, A, C Begg, K. Ramsay, W. Elder, and Professor Shand. The following business was transacted : — ELECTION OF MEMBERS. The returns from school committees of the voting in regard to the election of three members of the Board in room of Messrs "Fulton, Clark, and Bastings (retiring), were laid upon the table.
