(Kkutkr's Special.) Sidney, December 10th. Arrived : s.s. Hero, from Auckland. The Treasurer has introduced his Financial Statement. The revenue for the last financial year was L 4,525,000, and the expenditure was L 4,725,000. He estimates the revenue for next year at L 4,762,000,, 762, 000, and the expenditure at L 4,984,000. The deficit is to be covered by an increase of taxes on stamps, spirits, 2s On wine (sparkling and four others) ; on beers, 3d ; tobacco, 3d ; manufactured, 6d. The excise duties on beers and tobacco will be 3d. Melbourne, December 10 th. Mr Munro in the Assembly gave notice of motion to address the Governor asking
