Mr Mason's floating dock was finally removed from its old moorings at Manrford's Bay, yesterday morning, and towed up to Dunedin by the p.s. Koputii.
The Union Company's steamer Wakatipu arrived alongside the Railway Pier at 6 p.ra yesterday, having made the trip from Sydney, via. Wellington and Lyttelton, in eight days. She brings & large cargo and 70 The Union Company's steamer Albion having undergone a complete overhaul in the Graving Dock, waa floated into the stream on the 7th.
The ship Invercargill was floated Into the Graving Sock on the 7th inst for scraping, cleaning, and painting below the water-line. The s.s. Wanaka left Port. Chalmer* on the 7th with passengers and cargo for Auckland, via the East Coast. '
The schooner Hally B»yley arrived off Otago Hoads and anchored outside at 7.80 p.m. on the 6th, after an excellent passage of eight days from Hobatt Town. The Union] Company's steamer Taiaroa arrived at Port Chalmers at 5 p m. on the 7th.
The schooner Martha Reid, with a cargo of sleepers from Foxton, Manawatu, for the Railway Department, arrived at Port Chalmers on Saturday morning.
The Union Company's steamer Penguin, from the Bar of Islands and ports along the Kast Coast, arrived at Port Chalmers at 8.20 a.m. on Sunday.
The e.g. Star of the South, from the Bluff and Stewart's Island, arrived at Port Chalmen at 6 a.m. on Monrday. She left Stewart's Island at 7 p.m. on Sunday,
The s.B. Taiaroa left the Rattray street Wharf on Monday afternoon, with passengers and cargo for Northern potts.
The Union Company's steamer Arawata arrived at Port Chalmers at 7 am. on Tuesday, with 136 passengers and 90 tons of cargo for this port, from Melbourne, via the Bluff.
The ship Invercargill was shifted from the Railway Pier and berthed in the stream on Tuesday. The brigantine Anthons, with a cargo of coal from Ore; mouth, arrived off the Headsjon Tuesday forenoon, and came up on the flood tide as far as Carey's Bay, where she anchored.
The Union Company's steamer Tararua, Captain Mu!r, arrived at Port Chalmers at 6.50 a.m. on Wednesday.
The three-masted schooner Jasper, with part of original cargo of sugar from the Mauritius, via Lyttelton, reached the Heads on Wednesday morning, and was taken in tow by the tug Koputal, and passed the Port at 11 a.m. with a strong flood tide.
The steamer Tararua was hauled into the Graving Bock on Wednesday for her periodical overhaul.
The Union Company's steamer Wakatipu, with cargo and passengers for Sydney, via Lyttelton and Wellington, sailed on Wednesday afternoon.
ARRIVAL OF THE SAN FRANCISCO.
The first direct importation of thia season's teas reached the port on November 7th by the brigantine San Francisco, from Foo Choo. She brings in all 320 tons of tea, of which 220 tons are for Dunedio, and the remainder for Lyttelton. The San Francißco is a trholeiome-loeklng little vessel of American construction, and has made rather a long passage for a craft of her build. This is, however, easily accounted for by the fact that during the greater part of her passage she experienced nothing but light winds and calms, which effectually prevented Ear puking anything like progress,
