The Porte declares its intention to execute the reforms embodied in the Treaty of Berlin.

There is great excitement in Stamboul at the action of England regarding the Turkish reforms in Asia.

The Cabinet are discussing the transfer of Afghan to Persia, the Shah ceding Olmutz (?) to England.
A Vienna telegram states that it is believed the refusal of the Porte to execute the promised reforms in Asia Minor will be followed by the deposition of the Sultan in favour of his brother, under the control of the Powers,
