PROPERTY SALES.

On Saturday afternoon Messrs Bastings, Leary, and Co offered a number of sectir ns ra South liunedtn ana Forbury Extension by auction. There was a t good attendance of buyers, pnnc pally for the South Uupedin properties, for which the bidding was spirited in many cases. In South DunediD, 13 sections between Bay View road trod Melbourne street, block! VII »nd VIII, were disposed of, at from £113 to £121 each; «nd 16 between Bay View road and Oxford street, blooKiX. at from £40 to £50 each. Two sections in block' V» between Melbourne street and Macandrew road* brought £165 each ; and the other* were sold at Irony £45 to £66. 64 sections in South Dunedin were sold in all. In Forbury Extension, Bix sections wart pold— one at £60, four at £58 each, and one at £48. Mr D. L. Simpson's property fronting the hMDOur, near Macaodrew's Bay, was passed in. Sever 1 sections in the township of Broad B*» were offered for sale at the rooms of Messrs M^Landress, Hepburn, and Co , Maiise street, on Saturday atiernoou. Pect ons 1 to 4 and 28 to 31, an entre block fronting the main read, area 2a Or 7 9p, was pasted in at £370.
