On the 17th August, at his parents' residence, tho Shamrock and Uhistle Hotel, Great Kmg street, Wilitam, eldest son of James and Ann Scmlan, aged 15 years.
On the 19th August, at his residence, Great King Btreet, Dunedin, Captain H. J. Bouman, of the firm of Bouman, Macandrew, and Co, aged 48 years.
On the 2(Hh Augu t, at his residence, Lees street, Dunedin, Mr David Reid, late of Largs, Ayrshiie, Scotland, and father of Mr Robert Roid, of Reid and Gray, of this city, aged 76 years.
On the 20th August, at Roslyn, Jessie, youngest daughter of Mr R. A. Lawson, aged 7 yo&rs.
On tho 10th August, at Merton, the infant son o' Thomas B. and Agnes Hammond, aged 8 months.
On the 21st August, at Elm Row, Harriett, the beloved wife of J, J. Martin, late of Ho'batt Town, aged 45 years.
