Correspondents lnust enclose name and address, not for publication, but as a guarantee of good faith. We in all cases claim th» right to correct or abbreviate communications. We cannot guarantee the return of rejected MSS., unless accompanied by a stamped envelope. Contiibutions for the Press, not in the form of letters, and not exceeding two ounces, can be sent for Id, if left open at the ends. We do not answer questions by post. We hava received a number of original poems of late, and the writers must not be surprised if their contributions do not appear in our columns. Some of them are fairly well written, but the subjects are susceptible of much better treatment.
