R. B. asks if it is true that, the Scots first came from Ireland ? He has heard the fact disputed. He also wishes to know where the Angles or Angs came from, and why the word "English" was applied to the language spoken in the lowlands of Scotland as well as throughout England. AQUA. — Can any of our readers answer "Aqua's" query as to the length, breadth, and average depth of Lake Wakatipu ?
