AGRICULTURAL STATISTICS.
WAKATIPU DISTRICT. Barley. — Area under crop, 109 a res ; estimated gross yieid, 3500 bushels. Wheat. — In the whole of tho Lake County there is not mo 'c than about 1200 acres utider wheat. Somo of it, it is expected, will yield as much as 55 bushels to the acre. The gross yield is estimated at 48,000 bushels ; average yield per acre, 40 oushels. Potatoes —Estimated gross yield, 350 tons. Othor Coreals.— There is little or no land under other crops.
