Iv the following cases judgment was given for the plaintiffs by default with costs i—R. K. Murray and Son v. W. Baker, L 8 Ms, board and lodging; Same v. Hunt Bros., L20 12s lid, a promissory note ; Richard Hunter v. David Patterson, LlO, on an I O U ; The! National Insurance Company v. Robert Mason, L 23 Is, for iusurance. (Mr Sinclair appeared for the plaintiffs.) A. Diamond v. William Valentine, L 4 12s, for board and lodging ; Same v. Alfred Valentine, L 3 7s, for board and lodging. A. Diamond v. G. F. Lockley.— Claim of L 9 Its, on a promissory note. Judgment for LS 11s, with costs.

Same v. Thomas Cogar.— Claim of L3O 15s, board and lodging. Judgment for L 25 with costs.

Same v. D. Bower. —Claim of L 4 15s, money lent. Mr M'Keay appeared for the defence. Plaintiff was nonsuited.

Same y. Dunthrop.— Claim of L 2 Bs, board and lodging., Plaintiff was nonsuited. . G. W. Elliot v. A. M'Donald.— ln this case the plaintiff did not appear, but His Worship made an order for the payment of the defendant's travelling exx>enses. H. Brenchley v. J. B. Sfcephenson.— Claim of L 6 2d 6d, breach of agreement for supplying ballast for the defendant's shio.— Mr Callan appeared for the plaintiff, Mr "Dick for the defendant. — Plaintiff was nonsuited. - - George Wallace v. Oharlea Samson. — This was a claim of L2O, damages sustaiued through an alleged assault at Green Island. Mr E. Cook appeared for the plaintiff, Mr E. C. Strode or the defendant. A' few of the wit-'-nesses were examined, and the case was ad journed till Thursday, the Bth instant.
