AUCKLAND RACES.

Auckland, April 17th. 1000 people attended the moos to-day, including the Governor and fluite. Trial Stakes, JJ mile; weight for age. Izitic Walton, 3yra. 1 ; May Moon, 4yrs, 2 j Polly Plum, aged, 3. Seven started. May Mdon led to within fifty yards of the chair, when Izaac was let out, and won easily. The Tradesmen's Plate was won by Porfume ; Polly Plum, 2 j Isabeil, 3. Perfume won easily.
Hurdle Race, two miles. Perfume, 1 ; Mystery, 2 ; Gladstone, 3. Deception nnd Medea also started. Jf erfume took kindly to tho timber, and scored a clever win.
Eastn* Handicap, one mile and a half. Isaac Walton, 1 j Bodouin, 2 ; May Moon. 3. Eclipse, Belle, and Deception also siarted. It Wfts a good race, won by half a length. Brown, Clerk of the Course, waa thrown from his horse, and had a narrow escape.
