SCHOOL EXAMINATION AT SWITZERS.
The school at Switzers passed a very successful examination on Thursday, April 15th, as will be seen from the subjoined report ; — " The Switzers school, examined by me on the 13th April, 1876, is conducted (by Air. Jas. Milne) with intelligence and energy. Older, discipline, and class movements are excellent. The instruction is sound and very well advanced, considering the unfavourable circumstances in which the school haa for a long time been placed. Reading generally is iluent and expressivo ; spoiling, accurato ; comprehension of meaning of lessons, satisfactory ; repetition of poetry, inclined to monotony ; writing, very good ; grammar, well commenced ; geography, good ; dictation and wntiug on elatos, fair ; notation, numeration, aud elementary tables require more attention ; home work well attended to. Au excellent tone pervades the whole school. — Wm. Taylou, Inspector. "
