THE QUEEN'S THEATRE.
There was a good house at the Queen's Theatre on 1 uesday, on which occasion 'was produced Boucicaalt'3 -popular drama ' of Arah-na-Pogue. , The performance went smoothly, and was well received. The drama has, on former occasions, been ' much.b etter played, in Dunedin,;but it* must be'bqrn'e in mind that with changes of programme every evening the same standard of excellence can- . not be expected as if extraordinary ..preparations were made for i the production ; of a play. In one respect last evening there waa a change, which -was 'not for the better— the gentleman who- formerly played. Michael Feeny, Mr Musgravejhad another- part' last evening. Mr : MHsgraveV v renderiri'g of this character, is alone worth gping to'eeb, and the Michael Feeny of , last .eyemngr. suffers,: by the, comparison. Mr Steele played t-Shaun the^Post creditably, and the, other parts' were fairly tilled, but there was 'nothing .in thorn calling for special mention. s <* -. . -,>'■
