London, September 13th. The foreign consuls are making a tour of the insurgent districts, and are to reassemble at Stolatz, to communicate to Server Pacha the result of $heir mission.
Servia has ordered the mobilisation of the frontier brigades, the reason assigned for this step- being the threaten" irig concentration of Turkish troops. Prince Milan, in opening the Servian Parliament, alluded earnestly to the insurrection,, and the concentration of Turkish troops. He trusted that the Sultan and the Euro pean powers would join in the pacification of the provinces. The second jury empanelled in the case of the collision between the Royal yacht Alberta and the yaaht Mistletoe, • between Gosport and Oowes, found that the oc> ourrence was accidental, but that the officers of the Alberta committed anerror.
September 17th. > Commodore Chapman is ordered to hoist hia broad pennant as Commodore commanding the Australian station, until relieved. The Standard condemns Lieutenant Asmith's scheme for the colonisation of New Guinea by two hundred Volunteers. H.M. s. corvette Sapphire sailed for Australia.
The wool sales are marked by considerable languor, but prices remain without any noticeable alteration. 16,000 bales wool withdrawn. The corn market dropping and languid. Price has fallen owing to large foreign arrivals. Australian, 55s 4d ;, New Zealand, 50s to 525. Copper quiet. Tin market is tirm, with hardening prices.
At an interview between M. Theirs and Prince Gortschakoff, at Revel, the latter expressed fears that the French Governmentwould be affected by a clerical reaction. Gortschakoff also said that the' solution of the Eastern question will, for the moment, be postponed if the foreign autonomy of Bosnia and Heregovina is secured together with a ratification of the Montenegrin frontier. . The ship Strathnaver, which left Sydney on April 27th, is supposed missing. Eighty guineas premium is offered for insurance.
Paris, September 13th. The French Press is greatly occupied with the progress of the Bonapartist propoganda.
