N. B. — Goldsbrough is owned by Mr Petty, the former proprietor off the Marybyrnong Stud, although trained and raced, by Mr John Tait. Don Juan's time for the last Melbourne Cup was the same as Stirling's for the Metropolitan just run — 3 mm. 36 sees. As we have received several queries in reference to the running of the various Metropolitans anel A J.C. Derbys, we subjoin for the information of our cui respondents full particulars of both these races run since 18(35 and 1866.
