Austria and Russia have assented to the recognition of Spain ia puisuauce of the agreement made by the three Emperors at Berlin for common action on all diplomatic questions. Discount, 3 per cenfc. At the wool sales, the competition continues extremely vigorous, and prices show a general advance, compared with previous salts, of a halfpenny to a penny halfpenny. A Bouapartist deputy has been elected for Calvados by a, large majority. Singapore, August 20th. A rupture is threatened between China and Japan on account of the Formosa expedition. China is mating immense preparations for war.
