A long discussion followed, and the item was then passed as printed. THE SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES. Mr GREEN moved, " That an address be presented to flis Honour the Superintendent, requesting that he will be pleased to cause the sum of L2OOO to be placed on the Supplementary Estimates, for the purpose of completing the road from Port Chalmers to Blueskin." The motion was lost on a division.
