STOCK REPORT.

Messrs. Driver, Maclean & Co. report — Prime Beef, about 35s per lOOlbe. Prime Mutton, 2dto2£d per lb., in town, Store Cattle— Mixed mobs, £7 to £8 ; do, Bullocks, 2 to 5 years, £8 to £9. Good Dairy Cows, Lls to £20. Store Sheep — Wethers, 4-tooth and upwards, 7s to 8s ; ewes, 2-tooth, about 10s ; do, 2, 4. and 6-tooth, 10s. Messrs Wright, Stephens©!)", and Co. re» port for the week ended the 6th inst. as follows : — Fat cattle— None have been yarded ; prime beef is worth from 32s 6d to 35a, and middling 30s per 100 lbs. Fat sheep— The market was barely supplied; a draft; of prime wethers realised 9a, and a lot of old ewes 5s each ; good mutton may be quoted at from 2d to 2|d per lb. Fat lams, from 7a to 8s each. On" the 2nd inst., at Clydevale Station, they sold rams from 228 6d to 30s ; ram lambs, 25s : Leicester ewes, 11s j do wethers, 8s 6d to 11s 3d ; hoggets, 7s each ; mixed lambs, from 8s to 12s per pair ; daily cows, from Ll2 to LlB each. Horses — there is a very marked decline in the value of this class of stock ; the balance of shipment per Beautiful Star, was sold in their yards at from L 7 10s to L 22 10s ; these prices are unprecedentedly low, as they \*ere a very useful lot of young horses. Quotations are — for heavy draught, from L3B to L 45;4 5; medium do, from L 25 to L 35 ; good hack, from L2O to L 25;2 5; light unbroken colts, from L 9 to Ll4 ; inferior, L4to L 7. The Bengal landed 99 head in fair condition; the first draft will be sold this week.
