RANSOMES AND SIMS, J\X IPSWICH AND LONDON, Beg to give notice to their friends and clients in the Colonie-, that they will exhibit specimens of their celebrated machinery, fitted with all the newest improvements, at the forthcoming Paris Exhibition. The prices of the various implements in use in the Colonies have been greatly reduced, without in any way detcorating from the superiority of workmanship and high quality of materials which have gained a world wide reputation for the productions of the Orwell Works. Ploughs.— Messrs. Ransomes and Sims's new ploughs gained four out of five prizes at the Royal Agricultural Society's meeting at Newcastle, aDd have won, since that time, S2 CiatDpicn Prizes, besides a large number of prizes gained by farmers' sons and local ploughmen using these implements. They are fitted with wrought iron frames ■when sent to the Colonies, and will be found to be the cheapest and niO3t durable implements in the market. Portable Steam Engines. — The portable engines manufactured by Messrs. Ransomes and Sims are designed so that Ight weight, easy draught, and strength of material and good workmanship, and simplicity of construction, form the principal features of their general airangement ; and they are specially celebrated for their Bmall consumption of fuel in proportion to the power developed. They are specially adapted for thrashing, pumping, sawing, and grinding, and have been awarded many prizes at various exhibitiona, besides testimonials of efficiency from public companies, manufacturers, and agricultnrists ÜBing them. Steam Thrashing Machines. — Messrs. Ransomes and Sims's steam thrashing machines have an unrivalled reputation in the Colonies for their cheapness and durability, and for the perfect sample, and quantity of grain thrashed with a small consumption of fuel. Horse Power Thrashing and Winnowing Machines, of the newest and most improved construction. Cora Mills, Chafl Cutters, and Patent Bruising Mills, are constructed with all the newest improvements, and are the cheapest in tie market. Messrs. Ransomes and Sims have devoted a great deal of attention to the manufacture of Stationary Engines, Steam Pumping Machinery for contractors' purposes and Irrigation, and will furnish drawings and prices on application. Orders may be transmitted through any Merchant or Implement Agent in the! Colonies. Catalogues, Drawings, &c., post free, on application to Ipswich or London, or the Paris Exhibition.
